shaun of the dead (d.v.d.)

anyone who loves zombies as much as i do will love this movie.
naked zombies, farts, gore and video games the things dreams are made of.
its about and english town that pretty much is already dead...people just carrying on like...zombies...and then they become actual (eh-hem, 'scuse me) zombies. shaun having just had his heart broken takes his freind ed on a quest to find his x-girl friend and his mom and carry them off to saftey at where else a pub.
and in true zombie genre fashion they get surrounded at the pub. tons of laughs, tons of sillyness and tons of the living dead...watch this if only to see a zombie in a wheel chair.
i give it 5 pints

The Life Aquatic (theaters)

written and directed by we anderson of rushmore, bottle rockets and the royal tennenbaums...staring bill murry, owen wilson, willem defoe, cate blanchet and angelica huston. this movie is a gotta see one of the most beautifully shot films i have seen since amelie. the soundtrack done with david bowie songs translated into portugues played on acustic guitar and the score done on casio keyboard.

bill murry deserves an oscar or somekind of major award for this. he played steve zissou so well..the perfect combination of prick, showboat and sensitive caring man. willem defoe is excellent as always.

the aqautic lifeforms are increadably done...amazing the jaguar shark...the sugar crabs...awesome creatures.

see this movie!
i give it a full ten pints...a first
